From Ruth Lara…

Thank you all so much for the wonderful Parkway prayers! The hearing yesterday was favorable towards us, and Jonah. We have Jonah for the next 30 days, and this will be a month to month event, since the his biological father is wanting custody. We do have a good relationship with him, and he realizes how important Jonah is to us, and wants us to stay in Jonah's life as well, with frequent visits etc.
Lord willing the threat of placing Jonah in foster care or "the Ark" are no longer being considered, that was what I was most dreading.
Thank you all again, and we trust in our good Lord in taking care of our lil Jonah. Please continue keeping us in your prayers.

From Delina…

Kenadee was born at 8 pm tonight! She weighs 7lbs 14oz and is 19 1/2 inches long. Both crystal and kenadee are doing well! Crystal is extremely tired...she pushed for 3 hrs! Please keep both crystal and kenadee in your prayers! Thanks, Delina

From Sandy Case…

I 'm leaving for Norman, OK today to watch my nephew, Tim, compete, and I will get to see my cousin, Logan, who was injured in the snowboarding accident a year ago. As a sophomore at OU, he is still wheel chair bound, but slowly making some progress. I will leave for West Point a week from today to watch my nephew compete again, so I'm requesting continued prayers for Logan and prayers for us as we travel.

Now for the bragging part:
My nephew is ranked fifth on the USA Men's Gymnastics team, and he hopes to make the Olympic Team in 2012.

From Laura Yz...

Rob,
This is Laura. I just received word today that a friend of mine, Joe Goforth, is in a critical state. On Friday, he learned he was having health issues which were originally thought to be caused by his liver. Today, we found out that he has a clot in his heart. He is on the list for a heart transplant. He needs one as soon as possible or else it is unlikely he will survive. He is an 18 year-old Christian who is very talented and loved by many. I met him at Texas Camp years ago and it was very hard to imagine him this sick. He is a very encouraging young man. I would like to request prayers not only for him but for his family. It must be harder for them to see a son, brother, and friend dying. Please pass this on to the congregation. Many thanks.

In Christian Love,
Laura Yzaguirre
